Audio-Technica AT808G Svanehals-mikrofon

The AT808G is a cardioid condenser gooseneck microphone with an S2 (4-pin mini XLR) connector, designed for podium and conference applications where the microphone must connect to a specific wireless or wired power system using the S2 termination. The flexible gooseneck neck allows precise positioning of the capsule for the speaker's height and angle, while the cardioid polar pattern provides focused speech pickup suited to reinforcement and broadcast environments.

S2 Connector Configuration

The S2 connector designation indicates a specific 4-pin mini XLR termination compatible with Audio-Technica powered inline systems and certain other proprietary connectors that specify this configuration. This connector type is particularly common in installed AV systems, parliamentary setups, and broadcast lectern applications where a non-standard power and signal connector is specified.

Cardioid Gooseneck Performance

The cardioid capsule and flexible gooseneck deliver the same speech-optimized frequency response and directional pickup behavior as other members of Audio-Technica's gooseneck microphone family. The gooseneck neck holds its adjusted angle firmly throughout a presentation, and the low-profile base suits permanent podium installations where a minimal footprint is required.
