Rakim Athelaston Mayers, known professionally as ASAP Rocky, is an American rapper and music producer from Harlem. He began his career with the hip hop collective ASAP Mob, quickly gaining attention with the breakout single Peso in 2011. His critically acclaimed debut mixtape Live Love ASAP led to a record deal and set the stage for his success. Rocky’s studio albums, including Long Live ASAP and At Long Last ASAP, both debuted at the top of the Billboard charts and produced several double platinum singles. Known for blending experimental sounds with mainstream hip hop, he has earned multiple awards and Grammy nominations. Beyond music, Rocky has directed videos and collaborated with numerous artists under the name Lord Flacko. His anticipated fourth album, Dont Be Dumb, is slated for release in 2025.
