The Acacia Strain is a deathcore band from the United States, formed in 2001 in Chicopee, Massachusetts and now based in Albany, New York. Originally made up of high school friends, the group has built a reputation for heavy, aggressive music and intense live performances. Their debut album, And Life Is Very Long, came out in 2002, and they have since released twelve full-length records. The band is currently signed to Rise Records.
