Tama BES1465BA-GAC Starclassic Bubinga Snaretromme

In 2006, at a time when most drum kits were built from Maple or Birch, Tama introduced the groundbreaking Starclassic Bubinga series. With its deep, powerful tone, it challenged conventional expectations and quickly established itself as a new benchmark in high-end drum design. Even after its discontinuation in 2018, its impact endured. Prominent artists such as Mario Duplantier and Eloy Casagrande have continued to praise its distinctive, commanding sound, reinforcing its lasting reputation.

In 2026, the legendary instrument returns as a limited-edition reissue. It faithfully recreates the original 9-ply, 7 mm shell construction, crafted from rare African Bubinga. The dense wood produces thunderous low-end, impressive projection, and the signature dark tone that defined the series. An outer ply of bold African Cherry adds striking visual contrast, complemented by sleek Black Nickel hardware—delivering a commanding appearance that matches its unmistakable sound.
