Bring dynamic, synchronized lighting to any event without a dedicated operator using the VC-1-DMX Video Lighting Converter. This compact device automatically generates DMX control commands from video and audio sources, creating real-time light shows that respond to what is on screen and in the mix.

HDMI video signals are analyzed across up to 32 color areas and converted into luminance data assignable to individual DMX channels. Color and brightness shift in real time to track on-screen movement, while HDMI thru passes the unprocessed video to a display or switcher.

Beat-synced flash effects, mirror ball speed changes tied to music tempo, and automatic blackout on silence keep the lighting locked to the audio. A 15-band audio filter provides fine-grained frequency analysis for detailed control. Both HDMI audio and analog stereo inputs are supported.

Four switchable channel maps address up to 512 DMX channels, with custom maps editable via the VC-1-DMX Setup Tool for macOS and Windows. External MIDI control via dedicated MIDI input and USB MIDI allows integration with hardware controllers, instruments, and DAWs.
