Combining 16 inputs with four-bus routing, the MQ 1642X is a versatile mixing desk designed for live sound, installations, and home recording. Eight mono MIC/LINE channels and four stereo MIC/LINE channels are served by twelve low-noise mic preamps and eight independent compressors, while three AUX sends and two stereo group buses offer extensive signal routing flexibility. Professional 60 mm faders deliver smooth, precise level control on every channel.

Three-Band EQ per Channel

Each mono channel features a three-band EQ: a high shelving filter at 12 kHz, a sweepable mid-peak from 100 Hz to 8 kHz, and a low shelving filter at 80 Hz – all adjustable ±15 dB. The LO-CUT switch further helps eliminate unwanted low-frequency rumble.

24-Bit FX & Digital Connectivity

The onboard 24-bit FX DSP processor provides 99 studio-quality effects with adjustable parameters. Bluetooth 5.0 and the USB-C audio interface (2x2) enable wireless streaming and direct computer recording, while the USB player supports playback from flash drives.

Professional Outputs

The balanced main output offers both XLR and ¼" jack connections. Additional unbalanced jack outputs are provided for a control room monitor send and a dedicated FX/AUX return, covering all standard live and studio routing requirements.
