Audio-Technica AT-LP60XUSBGM — Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Turntable with USB

The Audio-Technica AT-LP60XUSBGM is a fully automatic belt-drive turntable that combines vinyl playback with USB-based digital archiving. Built around a gunmetal-finished chassis, the deck plays 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and pairs a built-in switchable phono preamp with a USB output, so it feeds a stereo, powered speakers, or a computer running Audacity without extra hardware. Pressing start cues the tonearm and lifts it back at the end of the side. First-time vinyl owners will appreciate this single-box solution that both spins records and converts them to digital files.

What Sets This Turntable Apart

Two design choices separate this deck from cheaper entry-level models. The AC adapter handles AC/DC conversion outside the chassis, so power-supply noise stays out of the signal chain. A redesigned tonearm base and headshell improve tracking on warped records, while the anti-resonance die-cast aluminum platter adds rotational mass that smooths speed irregularities. The integral Dual Magnet cartridge is factory-aligned in the headshell.

Drive, Speeds, and Cartridge — Core Specs for Vinyl Playback

The drive train and cartridge determine how a turntable sounds and how long it lasts. Belt drive keeps motor vibration away from the platter, dual speeds cover every standard record format, and the replaceable stylus means the deck can be serviced instead of replaced.

• Drive Method: Belt-drive with DC servo-controlled motor.
• Speeds: 33-1/3 RPM and 45 RPM — covers 12-inch LPs and 7-inch singles with the included 45 RPM adapter.
• You get true plug-and-play setup with the integral Audio-Technica AT-3600L Dual Magnet cartridge, which comes factory-aligned in the headshell and features a replaceable diamond stylus (ATN3600LC).
• Wow and Flutter: less than 0.25% (WTD) @ 3 kHz at both speeds — keeps pitch steady across a full side.

Who Should Buy the AT-LP60XUSBGM

This model suits anyone stepping into vinyl from a briefcase-style record player or a streaming-only setup. With the fully automatic arm, the learning curve of cueing manually disappears, and the integrated preamp means a pair of powered bookshelf speakers is all you need. Owners who want to archive their collection will appreciate the USB output and bundled Audacity software.
