My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance is a rock band from New Jersey known for their dramatic sound and impact on the 2000s alternative scene. Their current lineup features Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Frank Iero, and Mikey Way. After forming in 2001, they quickly gained a devoted following with albums like Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and the hugely successful concept record The Black Parade, which became a cultural phenomenon. Despite being linked with emo and pop-punk genres, they have pushed against being defined by any label. Following a breakup in 2013 and several years apart, the band reunited in 2019 and launched a highly anticipated reunion tour, marking their place as one of the most influential acts of their era.
