Maxon OD808 Overdrive

Overdrive effect pedal for electric guitar from Reissue series that is made by the same Japanese company which crafted the original ‘808 overdrive circuit – it uses the identical circuit found in the original employing the same JRC4558 IC chip for warm, creamy, organic overdrive (similar to a tube amp) with singing sustain and the same tone that made Steve Ray Vaughan famous. It responds to picking dynamics as well as playing nuances and can be used as an amp booster. Pedal features dedicated Overdrive, Balance and Tone controls, standard 1/4" phone jacks for input and output, and a Normal/Effect switch. It can be powered 9V manganese dry cell battery (included) or special AC adaptor (10 V). Non-skid pad is also included. Dimensions: 70 x 112 x 55 mm. Weight: 260 g.
