A DAC/headphone amplifier based on audiophile signal processing chips. A CS43131 chip converts a digital signal to analog and amplifies it for headphone output, while a CS8406 chip handles Bluetooth-to-optical/SPDIF signal processing. A Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver chip completes the package, enabling the xDuoo XQ-50 PRO3 to support standard Bluetooth codecs such as SBC and AAC, as well as high-definition codecs such as aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC. In terms of interface, the XQ-50 PRO3 features a 360mW 6.35mm headphone output, a Toslink optical output, a coaxial SPDIF output and an RCA output. A USB-C 5V DC power port also enables the XQ-50 PRO3 to be used as a USB DAC. Additional benefits include a 1.3” color display and the ability to set various equalization parameters.
