Travis is a Scottish rock band from Glasgow, formed in 1990 and featuring Fran Healy, Dougie Payne, Andy Dunlop, and Neil Primrose. Taking their name from a character in the film Paris, Texas, Travis first found success with their debut album Good Feeling in 1997. They achieved major breakthrough with the 1999 album The Man Who, which spent nine weeks at number one on the UK Albums Chart and sold over two and a half million copies in the UK. Their follow-up, The Invisible Band, also topped the charts. Travis has released several more acclaimed albums, including 12 Memories, The Boy with No Name, Ode to J. Smith, Where You Stand, Everything at Once, 10 Songs, and L.A. Times. The band has won multiple Brit Awards, received the NME Artist of the Year award, and was honored at the Scottish Music Awards for their contribution to music.
