Electro-acoustic guitar from 100 series that features the popular Grand Auditorium body style, whose physical dimensions have made it a popular choice for its appealing performance versatility. Layered walnut back and sides are topped with a solid Sitka spruce soundboard, which together produce signature clear and balanced tone with a pleasing projection and midrange focus. Walnut’s crisp highs are balanced by a deep, woody low end that emerges as the guitar is played in. The soundboard choice for most guitars, Sitka spruce produces a broad dynamic range and accommodates a versatile range of playing styles. The 42.9 nut width is slightly narrower than the standard 44.45 width of other steel-strings, making it easier for developing players to navigate the fingerboard. The Elixir HD Light strings are custom calibrated to optimize the tone with bolder highs, fuller lows, and more overall warmth, giving players an expressive tonal palette. Onboard Expression System 2 pickup captures more of a guitar’s dynamic properties using a breakthrough behind-the-saddle design. The guitar further features a sapele neck with scarf joint and ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and 4mm dot Italian acrylic inlays, forward shifted pattern bracing, Tusq nut and Micarta saddle, black pickguard, plastic three-ring rosette and chrome tuners (100/200).
