Takamine is proud to present LTD2025, our annual special Limited Edition guitar. This year's elegant offering is an OM cutaway guitar with back and sides made of gorgeous Hawaiian koa. Koa is a silky smooth, syrupy tonewood that is paired with a top made of Engelmann spruce, finished in distinctive and beautiful Antique Evergreen finish. The fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony, and the fingerboard is inlaid with brass circles that will age with unique patina, adding to the timeless nature of this guitar. Colorful abalone is used to form the rosette and purfling, and the guitar is bound in classy tortoise shell colored binding. The sound of this beauty is marked by midrange clarity, sweet soft low tones, and sparkling top end. The legendary Palathetic pickup system is paired with our retro-inspired CTF-2N preamp. Taking this guitar to the stage is easy! The LTD2025 includes a premium hybrid semi-hard case for ultimate lightweight protection. Production of the LTD2025 is limited to 300 guitars for the world.
