Simple Plan is a Canadian rock band from Montreal, formed in 1999. The group currently features Pierre Bouvier on vocals and studio bass, Chuck Comeau on drums, Jeff Stinco on lead guitar, and Sébastien Lefebvre on rhythm guitar and backing vocals. David Desrosiers joined as bassist and backing vocalist in 2000 and was part of the band until 2020.
Known for their energetic pop-punk style, Simple Plan has released six studio albums, including No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls, Still Not Getting Any, and Harder Than It Looks. They have also released live albums and an EP. The band gained popularity with hits like Welcome to My Life and Perfect.
Simple Plan has toured internationally and performed at major events, such as the Vans Warped Tour, the 2010 Winter Olympics closing ceremony, and the 2016 NHL Winter Classic. They have appeared in film and TV, including a cameo in New York Minute and performing the theme for What's New, Scooby-Doo.
