Pentatonix is an American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas, made up of Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Matt Sallee, and Kevin Olusola. Known for their dynamic vocal harmonies, beatboxing, and inventive pop and holiday arrangements, they perform both covers and original songs. Pentatonix formed in 2011 and gained national recognition after winning the third season of NBC’s The Sing-Off. They went on to build a massive following on YouTube, earning multiple chart-topping releases including the gold and double platinum holiday album That’s Christmas to Me. The group has won three Grammy Awards and was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023.
