The ocean drum has a frame between two horizontal membranes and is played by turning the wrist so that the drum tilts gently in all directions. The metal beads inside roll across the lower membrane like water rolling down a bank. Different speeds create different sounds. A sudden turn creates the sounds of crashing waves. It is a great drum that provides visual, tactile, auditory and physical stimulation.
