Ultra-lightweight rope-tuned 8” djembe from Travel series with patented synthetic construction that makes it a great drum for everyone from professional musicians to recreational players. It is 20% lighter than fiberglass djembes and can be easily carried around. The combination of a synthetic head and shell produces sharp slaps along with deep bass tones and makes them the perfect drum for outdoor use since they are unaffected by changes in weather. The djembe further a 4mm thick pre-stretched HTP nylon rope with 20 runners that hold the tuning in place, and a non-slip rubber bottom that protects the drum from scratches. Height: 406 mm.
