Meinl G24-U Sonic Energy Gong

Planetary tuned gong from Sonic Energy series that has a diameter of 24 inches/610 mm and is made in Germany in the European gong-making tradition. Using the calculations of Hans Cousto (The Cosmic Octave) to match the frequencies of Uranus, it is tuned to produce the corresponding frequency of 207.36 Hz (G2#) on an A4= 400-439.38 Hz scale. This gong is handcrafted from nickel-silver by the gong makers to respond with great sensitivity in all playing applications and its mysterious sound comes from the countless hours spent hand-working the metal. It is atmospheric and soothing and promotes emotional balance, patience and self-confidence. It comes supplied with a fitting cover and MEINL gloves. Weight: 4 kg.
