Plein Air Pochade Box. Designed for travel from sea to summit and anywhere in between, this all-in-one plein air box has it all. With a standing tripod, the plein air box can be used as a French easel. The rubber bumpers on the base also allow it to function as a small table easel for studio use. Its versatility enables you to paint anywhere you like.

This portable box features three large compartments with two removable divider slats to adjust the size of the compartments. It's spacious enough to carry all the essentials for a day of painting outdoors. Unlike a cumbersome wooden French easel, this box keeps your items organized and allows you to travel light. The bottom includes an adjustable wet panel storage area that can carry three to four wet panels of any size from 20 × 25 cm do 23 × 30 cm. while you're on the move. The panels can be stored conveniently and securely behind a sliding magnetic door, eliminating the need for a separate wet panel carrier. The convenience and flexibility of this pochade box will impress your fellow plein air painters.

It features a standard 1/4" tripod socket for camera tripods. This means you can use any camera tripod with this small easel. We highly recommend using tripods with quick-release adapters for easier attachment and removal.

 Thanks to the hinged adjustment arm, the lid can be held at any painting angle, including completely flat for watercolour painting. The star knobs on the arm make adjustments super easy.

The included travel aluminum tripod with a snap-in quick-release plate is specifically designed for plein air painting. The plate allows you to effortlessly attach or detach the pochade box from the tripod. It fits perfectly into the tripod head, ensuring a stable hold without slipping or wobbling—so you can stay focused on your art.

The tripod height is adjustable from 60 to 135 cm, allowing you to work comfortably whether seated or standing.
