The song charted in the top ten in several countries, including Sweden, Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands. After its success, Lindemann shifted toward an alternative music style, feeling pop did not reflect her true artistry. She released her debut EP Paranoia in 2021, followed by her first album Suckerpunch in 2022.
