Compact and lightweight synthesizer/USB controller from TRITON taktile series that offers a stylish design which projects a sense of professionalism, functionality and style, together with the same great-feeling 25-key semi-weighted velocity-sensitive keyboard that is used on synthesizers and music workstations such as the KingKORG and KROME. The main feature and difference from the taktile controllers is the addition of 512 sounds from the TRITON, KORG's best-selling music workstation loved by top-ranking musicians around the world. The controller is loaded with functions that make it fun to play and use, such as stylish and ergonomic X/Y touch pad inherited from the Kaossilator that lets allows for playing melodies using just a single finger and can be also used as a track pad. It also provides 8 velocity-sensitive trigger pads that allow for generating chords in the key and scale of choice and an arpeggiator that includes 50 rhythm patterns (6 types). Of course, the controller also delivers the functionality that is expected from a MIDI controller. It provides all of the basic controllers such as 8 sliders and 8 switches, as well as pitch bend and assignable wheels. It offers a full array of DAW presets and basic functionality so it can be simply connected and played right out of the box. The KORG KONTROL Editor & Control Surface plug-in is bundled with the unit and will greatly improve its functionality. Other features include maximum 80-note polyphony, 128 x 64 dots high-contrast OEL (Organic Electroluminescent) display, USB (type B) port, MIDI out, assignable switch and pedal, and audio output.
