Kevin Abstract, born Clifford Ian Simpson in 1996, is an American rapper, singer, and producer best known as the founder and leader of Brockhampton. With Brockhampton, he released eight albums between 2017 and 2022, helping define a new era in hip-hop. As a solo artist, his work includes MTV1987, American Boyfriend, Arizona Baby, Blanket, and Blush. Beyond his own music, he has collaborated with various artists and was involved in the Video Store label and project. In 2025, he launched the Houston-based collective Blush and co-founded the record label Juno with Dominic Fike, forming the duo Geezer. Kevin Abstract is recognized for his innovative approach to both music and collaboration within the industry.
