Jonathan Julian Hopkins, born 15 August 1979, is an English electronic musician and producer known for his atmospheric and immersive sound. Starting out as a keyboardist for Imogen Heap, he has since produced and collaborated with artists like Brian Eno, Coldplay, and David Holmes. His film work includes the soundtrack for Monsters, which received an Ivor Novello nomination. Hopkins’s renowned albums include Insides, which climbed the US Dance chart, and collaborative projects like Small Craft on a Milk Sea and Diamond Mine, both charting in the UK. With Mercury Prize nominations for Diamond Mine and Immunity, and a Grammy nomination for Singularity, Hopkins is one of the leading figures in contemporary electronic music. His latest album, Music for Psychedelic Therapy, was released in November 2021.
