John Fogerty is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist best known as the frontman of Creedence Clearwater Revival. As CCR’s lead singer, lead guitarist, and principal songwriter, he helped shape the sound of late 1960s and early 1970s rock with classics like Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, and Fortunate Son.
