JBL EON ONE MKII Søjle PA-system

JBL EON ONE MK2 — Battery-Powered Column PA for Performers On the Move

The JBL EON ONE MK2 is an all-in-one rechargeable column PA that packs a 1,500-watt amplifier, a 5-channel digital mixer, and a swappable lithium-ion battery into a single 19.3 kg tower. Built for buskers, mobile DJs, educators, and houses of worship, this system delivers pro-grade sound without AC power, external racks, or speaker stands. The column assembles in two minutes, and Variable Power Performance grants 4 dB of extra headroom on AC.

What Sets the EON ONE MK2 Apart

Two design choices make this column PA stand out. The geometrically optimized C-shaped array of eight 2-inch tweeters delivers 140° horizontal and 30° vertical dispersion, so guests near the speaker aren't blasted while those at the back still hear clearly. Placing the battery inside the column spacer freed up internal acoustic volume for deeper low-end from the 10-inch woofer.

Acoustic Performance — Coverage and Headroom

Tuned to a 230 Hz crossover, the C-shaped tweeter array and 10-inch woofer produce smooth response from 37 Hz to 20 kHz.

• Max SPL: 123 dB (AC) / 119 dB (battery) — headroom for crowds of 30 to 100
• Frequency Response: 37 Hz – 20 kHz @ -10 dB; 45 Hz – 20 kHz @ -3 dB — full-range coverage without a sub
• Dispersion Pattern — wide horizontal throw of 140° H × 30° V reduces hot spots in small venues

Power System — Battery and Amplifier

The polypropylene cabinet passes JBL's 100-hour stress test for touring reliability.

• Amplifier: 1,500 W peak / 400 W RMS — clean, distortion-free output at any volume
• Battery: 97.2 Wh, 36 V lithium-ion — six hours of play time, swappable mid-gig
• Weight: 19.3 kg (42.5 lbs) — manageable for one person to carry

Mixer, DSP, and Connectivity

A full-color EasyNav LCD pairs with three fixed EQ knobs and a Triple-Tier DSP interface that scales from beginner to advanced.

• Inputs: 3 Neutrik XLR combo jacks, 1 Hi-Z 1/4", 1/8" / BT summed — covers mics, instruments, and stereo playback
• DSP Suite — Lexicon reverb/chorus/delay, dbx DriveRack AFS, 8-band parametric EQ, and Soundcraft Easy Ducking
• Wireless Control — Bluetooth 5.0 streaming plus JBL Pro Connect app control of up to 10 units, with two USB charging ports and 48 V phantom power

Who Should Choose the EON ONE MK2

The EON ONE MK2 is the right choice for mobile DJs, wedding entertainers, and solo acoustic performers who need pro-grade sound in a single carry-on package. Battery operation suits outdoor ceremonies, terrace sets, and pop-up venues where AC power is unreliable. Educators and houses of worship benefit from the two-minute setup, Soundcraft Easy Ducking for speech-over-music, and the JBL Pro Connect app for remote level adjustments.

JBL Professional — A Legacy of Live Sound

JBL Professional has engineered loudspeakers for live performance for decades, and the EON family has become a benchmark for portable PA systems worldwide. Introduced in October 2021 as the second-generation evolution of the original battery-powered column PA, this model refined the line-array concept with C-shaped tweeter geometry and integrated DSP from dbx and Lexicon.
