Air Threader - patented Air Thread system

This automatic air threading system completely eliminates threading problems. Simply insert the end of the thread for the looper into the threading port and move the lever. You don't have to worry about anything else, the Air Thread system will thread the needle quickly and easily for you. You don't have to worry about color-coding the threading path, and you can avoid guides. Threading the needles is also very easy, as a special automatic threader does everything for you. The tube threader system allows you to thread in any order, you can sew immediately after threading, and you can rethread as needed. Another perfect feature is that, unlike the competition, the feed dogs are made entirely of metal, which prevents material breakage in the future, accelerates air flow, and extends the life of the machine.

8-row feeder - a unique system

Every customer knows that the feeding system is the most important thing. Thanks to the 8-row feeder, the material is fed evenly under the presser foot and the feed is perfect for both light and delicate materials as well as heavy materials. Changing the settings takes just a moment.

Built-in 1-step converter

Changing from a 3-thread to a 2-thread application has never been easier. Simply place your thumb on the converter switch and slide it to the desired position. Now you are ready to sew a delicate rolling stitch or reduce puckering on an overlock edge.

Built-in needle threader

With the built-in needle threader, you can easily thread both needles in one step. Thread both the left and right needles and you're ready to sew.

Safety first

The machine has 3 microswitches to ensure safety while sewing. This means that the machine will not start until all parts are locked in place.

Integrated settings

Stitch length and differential feed settings have been integrated into a single selector. You can change the stitch length at any time (even while sewing) to obtain stitches ranging from 1.0 to 5.0 mm. You can use the same control to adjust the differential feed. This can be set within a range of 0.5 to 2.0 mm.

Fine adjustment

As the machine is designed for more experienced customers, it offers the possibility of perfect adjustment of individual functions. You can adjust the cut width and change the type of rolled stitch with a single lever movement. Everything is now located on the right side of the machine.

Speed, power, stability

The internal construction of the Janome AT2000D overlock is completely different from what you are used to. Instead of the sliding parts found in conventional machines, the internal mechanical components are replaced by ball bearings. This makes the machine quieter, more stable, and more powerful, even at high sewing speeds.

Thread tensioners - threading
