Electric guitar with Soloist body shape from Pro Series that is a purebred shred machine that redefines metal prowess and innovative guitar design. The ergonomic Soloist alder body with neck-through-body construction is designed for player comfort and increased balance, eliminating the dread “neck dive” that has brought many a headstock to a sad, untimely end. The one-piece graphite-reinforced speed maple neck features a scarf joint, one-ply white binding and Jackson’s signature pointed 6-In-Line headstock. The 12”-16” compound radius fingerboard is designed for highly technical light-speed playing – more curved by the nut for comfortable chording, it flattens out as you move up the speedy neck for increasingly fast playing speed and wide bends without fretting out. The fingerboard is made of ebony and features 24 jumbo frets and alumiloid piranha inlays. Scale length is 648 mm, nut width is 42.8 mm. Chosen specifically for their complementary sound, a pair of modern Seymour Duncan Distortion Mayhem humbucking pickups drives this guitar’s versatile sound, combining for highly balanced, flexible tone, with plenty of high output for pristine cleans and snarling distortion. Master volume and tone controls with dome style knobs shape the pickups’ output, which can be further refined with the three-position pickup toggle switch for the precise voice required to bring the musical vision to life. The Floyd Rose FRT-O5000 double-locking tremolo bridge is recessed for pick hand comfort and provides laser-accurate intonation and ultra-stable tuning when combined with the Floyd Rose R3 locking nut.
