Thanks to these changes, this shape delivers a richer low mids and better body to weight balance, which conventional Auditorium bodies tend to lack. Ibanez developed its proprietary X-M bracing specifically for Advanced Auditorium guitar bodies to produce the ultimate sound for the stage and studio. Solid Sitka Spruce top provides an enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs along with tight mids and a full-bodied low end. Rosewood back and sides provide a well-balanced solid tone with a focused mid range. The Low Oval neck grip facilitates easy chord strumming and the Rounded Fretboard Edges deliver superior playability. Thermo Aging, a special drying process, makes the neck light and hard and provides excellent stability and enhanced resonance. Macassar Ebony fretboard produces tight lows and mid range along with strong attack in the highs and quick response with rich sustain. The lightweight, Macassar Ebony scalloped bridge improves vibration efficiency for better resonance, as well as providing more flexibility in adjusting the action than usual bridge. Ibanez Custom Electronics amplify the signal of each pickup naturally throughout the entire tonal spectrum. Blending the sound of the two pickups allows the player to create a variety of tones to suit their particular playing style or genre of music.
