High-quality hard steel 440C is used for this knife. It’s hardness is 58 HRC and this metal remain sharp for a long time after being sharpened, but still it can be sharpened with high-quality in the field conditions. 440C steel is enough to be wiped dry to prevent corrosion after using the knife. Cutting edge is smooth and, thus, G727M-WD1 cuts well almost any material. Knife edge is lifted up which allows to extend the cutting edge itself with the blade size of 89 mm. the blade surface is satin with quite noticeable bars. However, this treatment does not reduce the corrosion resistance of the blade. The handle of this model attracts special attention. After all, it is made of natural wood which, in general, is not typical for Ganzo brand. Manufacturers selected ebony wood tree, which belongs to valuable varieties of wood and is known for its high density. Dark surface of the handle with a textured wood pleases even the most sophisticated expert of knives.
