Fender Vintera 60s Vintage Stratocaster Pickup Set Enkelt pickup

Vintera '60s Vintage Stratocaster Pickup Set — Classic '60s Strat Tone

The Fender Vintera '60s Vintage Stratocaster Pickup Set is a factory-authorized SSS pickup set engineered to reproduce the crystalline, bell-like voice that defined mid-1960s Stratocasters. Non-beveled Alnico 5 magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire deliver a tight, focused character suited to blues, classic rock, and Hendrix-style lead work.

What Sets This Pickup Set Apart

The reverse-wound/reverse-polarity (RWRP) middle pickup cancels 60-cycle hum in switch positions 2 and 4. Each pickup is wound and calibrated individually for its slot, and staggered unbeveled pole pieces preserve the original '60s magnet stagger for balanced output.

Electrical Output — Vintage-Voiced Windings

DC resistance and inductance are calibrated per position so each pickup plays its own role in the SSS layout.

• DC Resistance (Neck / Middle / Bridge): 5.7 / 5.95 / 5.95 kΩ — graduated output across the 5-way switch
• Inductance: 2.32–2.75 H — preserves high-end clarity in every position

Construction — Vintage Materials

Construction mirrors the original '60s Strat pickups with period-correct materials.

• Magnet Type: Alnico 5 — punchy attack with classic single-coil bite
• Magnet Wire: Enamel-coated — vintage-correct insulation
• Bobbin Material: Fiber — period-accurate flatwork
• Pole Pieces: Staggered Unbeveled — original '60s magnet stagger

Installation — Drop-In Stratocaster Fitment

The set ships with installation hardware and a wiring diagram for direct SSS Stratocaster routing. Vinyl-covered output wire routes cleanly through the body cavity.
