Charlie Puth, born December 2, 1991, is an American singer, songwriter, and producer who first gained attention through viral YouTube covers. After appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he signed with eleveneleven in 2011. Puth rose to mainstream fame in 2015 with his debut single Marvin Gaye featuring Meghan Trainor and his collaboration on See You Again with Wiz Khalifa, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and earned multiple award nominations. His debut album Nine Track Mind and its hit We Don't Talk Anymore established him as a pop artist. Puth's follow-up albums Voicenotes and Charlie continued his commercial success, featuring popular singles like Attention, Light Switch, and Left and Right.
