18” LF driver with ferrite magnet and cast aluminium chassis that delivers 700W RMS (AES Standard) power handling and 94dB sensitivity. It features a 3” high temperature, multi-layer voice round copper coil for greater motor force, glass-reinforced paper cone and glass fibre former. “Multi-roll” cloth surround further provides exceptional linearity at extremes of cone excursion. Dual Magnet Motor (DMM) incorporates a secondary magnet used to increase overall motor force (Bl) without the need for any additional increase in magnet size. The FEA optimized magnet assembly delivers highly symmetrical cone movement, leading to exceptionally low harmonic distortion. The Balanced Airflow Venting (BAV) on the front-plate increases airflow to provide enhanced cooling. Nominal impedance: 8 Ohm. Frequency range: 30 Hz-2.5 kHz. Overall depth: 211.3 mm.
