The Boss LS-2 Line Selector pedal is the easy way to switch settings among several effects devices or amplifiers, or route input and output signals. Two line loops and six looping modes cover applications from simple A/B switching to parallel blending and amp selection. The LS-2 is the right choice for guitarists and bassists running multi-amp rigs who need single-stomp access to different signal paths.

Six Modes, Two Loops, One Stomp

What sets this model apart from a basic A/B box is its six looping modes, accessed through a single Mode knob. Players can alternate Loop A and Loop B, blend A and B for parallel effects, or use the pedal as an output selector between two amplifiers. Each loop has its own Level control running from minus infinity to plus 20 dB, so the LS-2 doubles as a clean boost or volume cut when one loop is left empty.

Switching Architecture — Routing Logic

A single stomp cycles through the programmed mode, while two LEDs indicate which loop is active. Buffered bypass keeps the signal intact when both loops are disengaged, avoiding the high-frequency loss that plagues long chains of true-bypass pedals.

Inputs and Outputs — Loop Connectivity
