Bastille is an English indie pop band formed in 2010, led by Dan Smith and later joined by Kyle Simmons, Will Farquarson, and Chris Woody Wood. Starting as a solo project, the band gained prominence with their debut album Bad Blood in 2013, which featured the global hit Pompeii and topped the UK charts. Known for their anthemic sound and heartfelt lyrics, Bastille has continued to release successful albums including Wild World, Doom Days, Give Me the Future, and their latest, And, in 2024. Their music has appeared in movies, TV, and video games. Bastille won the British Breakthrough Act at the 2014 Brit Awards and has sold over eleven million records worldwide.
