Amy Grant is an American singer-songwriter born in 1960, widely recognized as "The Queen of Christian Pop." Rising to fame as a teenager in the 1980s, she became one of the first artists to bridge contemporary Christian music and mainstream pop. Grant achieved major crossover success with albums like Unguarded and Heart in Motion, the latter selling five million copies in the US and producing chart-topping singles such as "Baby Baby." As of 2009, she has sold over 30 million albums worldwide and earned six Grammy Awards, 22 Dove Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition to her music career, Grant has authored several books, including her memoir Mosaic. She was honored with the Kennedy Center Honors in 2022. Grant has been married to country singer Vince Gill since 2000.
