Alter Bridge is a rock band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 2004 by Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips after the members’ previous band, Creed, went on hiatus. The group released their debut album, One Day Remains, in 2004, earning a gold certification and reaching the top five on the US charts. Their follow-up album, Blackbird, arrived in 2007 and started a long-term collaboration with producer Michael Baskette.
Known for their energetic sound and emotional songwriting, Alter Bridge continued to gain recognition with albums like AB III, which featured the chart-topping single Isolation, and Fortress. The band’s later albums, including The Last Hero, Walk the Sky, and Pawns and Kings, further established their presence in both American and international rock scenes. By 2023, Alter Bridge had sold over five million records worldwide, earning a reputation for both their studio albums and dynamic live performances.
