Portable ultra-compact keyboard and pad controller with an array of essential hardware controls that incorporates 5 years of user feedback for enhanced design. It features 25 synth-action velocity-sensitive keys, 4-way thumbstick for dynamic pitch and modulation control, 2 x 8 backlit velocity and pressure-sensitive MPC-style pads with Note Repeat and Full Level that allow an access to genuine technologies from Akai Professional’s line of MPC workstations, 8 assignable Q-link knobs for mixing, tweaking plug-ins and more, dedicated Octave Up/Down buttons that increase the keyboard to the full melodic range (10 octaves), built-in arpeggiator with adjustable resolution, range and modes for creating intricate melodic lines, and 1/4” TS sustain pedal input for expressive playing and recording. Controller does not require software drivers or external power adapter – it supports plug-and-play connectivity, features USB-MIDI and powers up via USB connection. Download option of production software package is included: Akai Pro MPC Essentials, sample-triggering software for groove/beat production that allows to incorporate MPC workflow into DAW of choice; SONiVOX Wobble, an electronic music grime synthesizer that features two independent channels of spectral morphing synthesis with harmonic controls, individual filtering, and LFO controls; Hybrid 3 by AIR Music Tech, a high-definition synthesizer.
